Seaworthy Collective, a Miami-based nonprofit that supports current, aspiring, and underrepresented entrepreneurs driving innovation for ocean and climate impact (AKA BlueTech), is announcing the launch of their new community & network platform, The Shoreline, during New York Climate Week.
The Shoreline is a digital platform designed to support current and aspiring BlueTech entrepreneurs. Using ecosystem mapping, AI, and regenerative frameworks, it connects them with tailored industry insights, resources, and curated network connections. Built in partnership with Catalist, The Shoreline was developed as a direct result of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s support through Phase 2 of the 2023 Growth Accelerator Fund Competition. The Shoreline provides foundational infrastructure for the future of Seaworthy startup support and collaboration, enabling diverse stakeholders to connect with the BlueTech ecosystem.
“By listening to the needs of the founders in our community, we’ve learned that they don’t need a litany of formal programs with time-intensive commitments and limited acceptance rates to maintain progress; they just need access to components of these programs that help them build traction and connect with mentors, collaborators, customers, funders and community. Working in parallel with our flagship Startup Studio & Incubator, The Shoreline fills a critical gap helping all stages of founders access the BlueTech ecosystem and support. It also embodies our mission of making BlueTech accessible and inclusive, further unlocking the untapped talent and ideas that will drive the scale of innovation needed to collectively regenerate our blue planet,” said Daniel Kleinman, Founder and CEO of Seaworthy Collective.
By blending human support with technology, The Shoreline offers a more accessible alternative to formal incubator and accelerator programs, providing direct access to essential resources including business guidance, opportunities for visibility, and the 1-on-1 support “Co-founder as a Service” Seaworthy Collective is known for, on a less intensive basis. Altogether, this allows Seaworthy to scale up empowering more entrepreneurs to drive greater impact for our ocean and planet.
Seaworthy Collective is accepting applications for our first beta users of The Shoreline from today through October 31st. Beta users get a 40% discount for a 3-month subscription that runs from November 2024 through January 2025. Anyone who is looking to connect with the BlueTech ecosystem is encouraged to apply – especially if you’re looking for a narrower scope of support than our formal 12-week Startup Studio & Incubator.

“We’ve built the Shoreline as a way for Seaworthy to bring its deep well of unique insights, network, and opportunities to the surface so current and aspiring BlueTech entrepreneurs don’t have to start from scratch.” – Vincent Arena, Catalist Founder & CEO
