The Global Citizens’ Initiative (TGCI) is an esteemed international non-governmental organization with a membership spanning 75 countries. TGCI’s mission is to foster a global community united by shared values, committed to solving the pressing issues facing our planet. Their goal is to nurture individuals who, while deeply rooted in their local identities, are also ready to take on the responsibilities of global citizenship.
The course is set against the backdrop of increasing globalization, where the complexities of global issues require collective action beyond national borders. Participants will explore themes such as human rights, religious pluralism, gender equity, environmental sustainability, and conflict resolution, among others. These themes echo the values advocated by world leaders over the past 75 years and are critical in building a sustainable, values-based global community.
