Strategic Clarity for Climate & Impact Builders & Creatives

You are committed to your work, but PR and communications can feel overwhelming. Visibility is essential for funding, credibility, and growth. Without a clear narrative and strategy, it is challenging to know where to start. This program focuses on building clarity, not simply doing more. Join a four-day strategic intensive designed for climate and impact leaders who want to establish a strong foundation for clear, confident communications.

Clarity Comes Before Visibility

Most climate and impact leaders do not struggle with communications due to a lack of passion or ambition. The challenge is often an unclear message.

You know your work is important. However, when communicating with funders, media, collaborators, or your broader audience, your narrative may seem scattered or inconsistent. The value and impact are clear, but the story has not been strategically developed.

As a result, visibility becomes reactive rather than intentional. PR feels like something you “should” be doing, but without a clear foundation, it is difficult to know where to start. The priority is not more marketing, but greater clarity.

It’s Not About Doing More PR.

Many climate and impact leaders believe they need more tactics, such as increased pitching, posting, or outreach. However, without a clear narrative and strategic foundation, these efforts often lack momentum. PR does not fail due to insufficient effort, but rather from a lack of clarity. Establish the foundation first to ensure your visibility is purposeful.

Introducing The 4-Day Clarity & Visibility Intensive

Inside the 4 Days

Day 1 – Narrative Architecture

We begin with your story. Not just what your organization does, but why it exists and why you are the one doing this work. This is about understanding your origins, your motivations, and the deeper layers that shape your business. We will look at both your personal and organizational “why” and start identifying the core narratives that are already present but may not yet be clearly articulated. The goal is not to create something new, but to bring clarity and structure to what is already there so it can be used intentionally.

Takeaway: If your story isn’t clear, nothing built on top of it will be either.

Day 2 – Stakeholder & Media Mapping

Once your narrative is clear, we shift to understanding who needs to hear it. This includes identifying your key stakeholders, those directly and indirectly impacted by your work, as well as mapping the media and platforms where your story belongs. This is not limited to traditional media. We will also look at independent voices, niche platforms, and emerging channels that shape how information is shared today. The focus is on narrowing in on the audiences and spaces that matter most.

Takeaway: The right people, your target audience, need to hear your story.

Day 3 – Messaging & Authority

With your story and audience defined, we begin translating your narrative into clear messaging. This means breaking your story down into key points that can be used across conversations, content, and media. At the same time, we look at your authority, what positions you as a credible voice in your space. This is not just about credentials, but about perspective, experience, and how you communicate what you know. The goal is to create a clear foundation for how you show up and what you say.

Takeaway: Authority is built through clarity and consistency.

Day 4 – Visibility Action Plan

On the final day, we bring everything together into a focused plan. This is where strategy turns into execution. We will define the platforms, channels, and opportunities that make the most sense for you, whether that includes media, social, speaking, or partnerships. The emphasis is on choosing what is most aligned and sustainable, rather than trying to do everything at once. You will leave with a clear path forward and the ability to start implementing immediately.

Takeaway: Visibility works when it is intentional, not reactive.

About Your Instructor

I’m Angela Betancourt, a communications strategist and founder of Betancourt Group, where I work with climate and impact-driven organizations to clarify their narrative and build meaningful visibility.

With over 20 years of experience in communications, media strategy, and brand positioning, I’ve seen a consistent pattern: the organizations doing the most important work often struggle not because their mission lacks power — but because their messaging lacks structure.

The Clarity & Visibility Intensive was built to address that gap. This isn’t about generic PR tactics. It’s about building the strategic foundation that allows your work to be understood, respected, and positioned intentionally.
