Congratulations are in order! On October 21, 2023, Seaworthy Collective held its Startup Showcase to celebrate the innovation and dedication of the Sea Change Makers. This event marked a pivotal moment in Seaworthy’s three-year journey, highlighting the transformation of Miami and the global community into a thriving BlueTech and ClimateTech hub. A significant portion of this year’s startups hailed from South Florida, underscoring the burgeoning innovation in a region in dire need of solutions.
The event kicked off with an inspiring keynote from Ted Janulis of Investable Oceans, discussing the momentum in the blue economy and blue investment. Things would not have happened without the organization’s invaluable partnerships, including Salesforce, U.S. Small Business Administration Growth Accelerator Fund Competition, and Miami-Dade County.
A highlight of the night was welcoming back two startups from the first cohort, Anya Freeman of Kind Designs and Nicholas Kee of Kee Farms, showcasing their incredible progress and impact since 2021. Following this, they introduced their latest wave of startups, including ARKHAUS, Algas Organics, ShoreLock, and Gradible, each bringing innovative and sustainable solutions to the table.
