GOT BAG, an eco-friendly, outdoor & lifestyle travel brand that has developed the world’s first backpacks made of ocean plastic, announces the launch of the first dry bag made from Ocean Impact Plastic. The new DRY BAG provides spacious, dust-resistant, and waterproof storage that guarantees that items will stay dry even in harsh conditions.

DRY BAG’s flexible volume, compact design,  high-frequency welded seams, and rolltop closure with a folding lip makes this the ideal bag for any watersport activity.  The bag features a padded grab handle and a removable and adjustable shoulder strap. It is also free of Perfluorinated Chemicals (PFCs) and Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic.

“The DRY BAG is a wonderful addition to our product portfolio and something we have been working on for a long time. A product that manages the balancing act between sustainability, functionality and durability without sacrificing the fashion aspect. Completely in line with the typical GOT BAG design. The development of the DRY BAG shows once again that there are no limits or excuses when it comes to innovative and sustainable product design,” said Matthias Paisdzior, Head of North of America for GOT BAG.

The DRY BAG is available for preorder for $69 until August 16, 2022, on the website and will be available for $79 after that date. Shipping will begin in November, just in time for the holiday season.

The launch of the DRY BAG is one of several exciting developments at the company. Recently, GOT BAG announced a significant milestone of collecting more than 1 million pounds of plastic from the ocean since its inception in 2016. GOT BAG also teamed up with Coral Gardeners to create a unique collection of GOT BAGs to raise awareness for reef conservation.

About GOT BAG

GOT BAG is a social-first fashion brand dedicated to raising awareness and cleaning our oceans from plastic pollution. The brand launched in North America in October 2020. To help create a plastic-free future for our oceans, GOT BAG collects and recycles up to 9.9 pounds of plastic from the ocean for every GOT BAG made. To date, GOT BAG’s efforts have recovered and recycled more than 1 million pounds of plastic from the ocean.  Benjamin Mandos founded GOT BAG while on a sailing trip in Southeast Asia. He was shocked by the images of the floating garbage patches mainly formed of plastic. He knew he did to do something about it and launched the company in 2016. GOT BAG wants to create awareness about the amount of plastic we use and to encourage people to think circularly.  https://us.got-bag.com/
